Here is a video demonstrating the four steps to follow when selecting a training program and submitting an online application for admission on AdmissionFP.
1Find a training program
You may consult the complete list of programs and trainings offered by clicking on the “Programs and Trainings” tab. From the search engine in the main menu, you can also perform a search using key words.
You can refine your search according to the type of training (DVS, AVS, etc.), language of instruction (English or French), region, as well as training sector. By clicking on a program name, you can consult the program details.
We recommend ensuring you meet the admission requirements outlined on the program page before continuing to the next step.
2Find an educational organization offering the program
From the program page, click on the "Educational organizations offering the program" button. On this page you will see the vocational training centres according to their respective school service centre. Select the training centre where you would like to submit your application.
3Choose from the available groups
If several groups are available for this centre, you may consult the details for each one by clicking on the group code in order to find the group that suits your needs.
The green, yellow, or red icons indicate the admission status of each group. You may also check the start and end dates of the course.
4Make an online application
Once you have selected your program, your institution, and your group, you are ready to submit your application. Click on the "Online application" button and answer each of the questions to complete your application.
Once you have completed your application, you can scan your supporting documents and upload them directly into your online dossier.
You may also print the completed application form and mail it in with the required supporting documents.
An AdmissionFP user fee must be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) for each application. This fee can also be paid by bank transfer via your online dossier, once your application is complete. This fee is non-refundable. Please note that there are no user fees for "Student for a Day" applications.
Permanent code
The permanent code is a unique identifying code assigned by the Ministère de l’Éducation to all students who attend an educational institution in Québec. It is an alphanumeric code composed of four letters and eight numbers.
You must have an permanent code to make an application online. If you have attended an educational establishment in Québec, you have a permanent code.
You may find it on:
- transcripts issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation
- diplomas issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation
- other documents issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation
- various documents issued by educational institutions (the code must be clearly identified as the one issued by the Ministère de l'Éducation, otherwise, it may be a code issued by the institution and not the Ministère de l'Éducation)

Candidates who have never studied in Québec
If you have never studied in Québec, you do not have a permanent code. You must therefore submit an application using a hard copy application form.
In order to ensure your eligibility, it is strongly recommended that you find out about the immigration process for studying in Québec as well as the availability of a training program at the chosen institution.
